As the "City of Springs", Jinan is not only the capital of Shandong Province but also an important transportation hub in East China. The construction of its rail transit network has always adhered to the core concept of "prioritizing spring protection, green and low-carbon, intelligent and efficient", taking into account both urban traffic diversion and ecological protection of springs, and has become a model of harmonious coexistence between metro construction and natural ecology in China. Jinan Metro Line R1 (now Jinan Rail Transit Line 1), as the first metro line to be completed and put into operation in Jinan, represents a breakthrough in the city's rail transit from nothing to something. The line runs from north to south through the western urban area, with a total length of 26.1 kilometers, including 16.2 kilometers of elevated lines, 9.7 kilometers of underground lines, and 0.2 kilometers of transition sections. It connects nine stations including Chidong Station, Qiandayan Station, Yuanbo Garden Station, Wangfuzhuang Station and Jinan West Station, linking the important transportation hub of Jinan West Station with cultural and tourism nodes such as Yuanbo Garden. It is a core project to improve the public transportation network in the western urban area of Jinan, relieve the pressure on ground traffic and open up the north-south transportation artery. It is also the first benchmark project of the "Baoquan Construction" of Jinan Metro. We were fully involved in the product research and development, adaptation, production supply, on-site installation guidance and later operation and maintenance support of the project, providing solid supporting guarantees for the safe, efficient and stable operation of Jinan's R1 metro and the ecological protection of the spring water, and contributing to the realization of the construction goal of "metro connecting the Spring City and spring water benefiting people's livelihood". It also set an industry benchmark for the mechanical and electrical supporting construction of subsequent metro lines in Jinan.
